Description
Published 1991
Universo pinup page.

Universo first appeared in Adventure Comics #349 (1966) written by Jim Shooter. Cover by Neal Adams and interiors by Curt Swan and George Klein.
Universo was an 30th Century Green Lantern who was stripped of his powers by the Guardians.
He clashed with the Legion several times and in the first two instances, he was defeated with the aid of his son Ron Vidar. Ron became an honorary member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

I don't know about you, but I'm having an impossible time trying to picture this guy as a Green Lantern. In ANY century!

This is some next century
Where the Universo's free
You can't find him anywhere
Yes, the Paris has been sold

Every night we're gone
And to Honorary Ron
How Jim likes to ink along
Though the worlds are wrong

It really, really, really could happen
Yes, it really, really, really could Legion
When the days they seem to fall through you
Well, Universo
