How does a father find an on ramp to superheroes for his daughter?

About a year after Molly was born, the animated series "Batman: The Brave and the Bold,� hit the air. By the time she could speak full sentences, Molly could name most of the characters in the DC Universe.

As brilliant as �Batman: The Animated Series� is, "The Brave and the Bold� is its perfect opposite; fun for both adults and kids. But the standout (musical) episode was "Mayhem of the Music Meister!� in Season 1 - nominated for an Emmy Award, and rightly so. That episode has been watched, and sung to, in our home for years; from toddler to teen.

In Baltimore last year, I showed Joe YouTube clips of Molly's favorite part of the episode. I told him I could think of no better artist to do this for me and Molly (see Joe's work on the award-winning "Batman & Superman Adventures� comic).

I picked this up Joe at C2E2 last week. He did not disappoint.

Here, the Music Meister has Black Canary in a musical trance. But fear not, Batman is on the way.

Music Meister appeared in Harley Quinn season 3 episode 5 as a DJ turntablist, but it's something you'd keep from the kids.
