Description

Although I might be more of a Batman fan, Nightwing will always have a special place in my heart and in my collection as it was the character and comic that my nephew was introduced to the wonderful world of comics. Whenever I had some free time in college I would stop by my brother's place to pick up my nephew and go comic book shopping. He took an interest in the Nightwing comics as I would pick up the latest Batman books. It was always fun to find the older Nightwing books for his collection, especially the Scott McDaniel / Karl Story issues. They had a way with the page layouts that intrigued me.

Defintiely a cool layout with the vertical panels squeezing the top panel into a diamond shape of the confined space within the helicopter. The verticals give us a sense of the height where the action is taking place and how show how far back the action reaches.
