18" x 12" image area. Ink and ink wash over graphite on Bristol board. Dracula Lives #11 Page 26 original art (Marvel 1975). Dick Giordano.

From the story "If Madness Be Thy Master", an adaptation from the Bram Stoker's novel, this twice-up masterpiece crafted entirely by the talented Dick Giordano exudes an air of creepiness as told from the perspective of a journal entry of Miss Mina Murray.

The wash work by Giordano is not seen too much, but it espouses a lot of dark romance passion with such a dread atmopshere like his best Batman works.

Giordano may be best known as an inker, but this page shows that his talents clearly went beyond that.
