DescriptionGift from a good friend-- I love this piece-- I had the pleasure of meeting the Nodell's and their son at a show we were both doing many years ago.They were all fabulous people and I'm glad to have this piece. The "Steve" in question is a guy who used to sell me comics when I was a kid, and I bought a Detective Comics #34 from him waaaaay back in the day which makes it even more special!

I like the choice of scene by GL's creator, a joyful Alan bathing in the green light of his magic lantern. Looks rejuvenating and refreshing! I like your description story, too -- sometimes art or a comic book evokes memories of meeting the artist, or a time in one's life.
