Description

14”x21” (frame 25”x32”) Painted in 1976; purchased in 2012. From Les’ website, http://www.lesedwards.com/galleries/adults-only/sex-and-the-black-widow/16816, Painted for Men Only Magazine in 1976. This was quite a popular illustration and generated a few letters of appreciation to the magazine. Appeared in Volume 41, Number 2, February 1976 for a story by D.M. Thomas entitled, Sex the Black Widow. Two-page spread on pages 8-9. I also bought from Les a 12”x17” preliminary drawing for the painting.
