Description

One of our art purchases at the Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention this past weekend was this lovely little piece by the great George Barr. It's a prelim for his cover to Richard Lupoff's "Barsoom: Edgar Rice Burroughs and the Martian Vision" (the Gryphon Books edition published in 2001).

It takes an old fashioned approach and holds that same mentality of interpreting the novel without any other influences.
