Terry Oakes designed this on spec piece back in the 1970s for a company in the UK to show his ability to use a wide spectrum of colors. He is a lifelong fan of Michael Moorcock's books, especially of Elric.

The colors and patterns are awesome!  For that time period, this is high end work in the fantasy realm.  Very suggestve with the giant sword laid over the lady sacrifice.
