Issues 5-8 of Magnus Robot Fighter were designed as flip books with half of the story focusing on Magnus and the other half introducing us to new character Rai. On this page, they have reached a truce about amputating one of Grandmother's limbs so Japan can transform into full battle mode to fight off the incoming alien invasion before it reaches Earth.

The name Knob Row was given to the colorists at Valiant. Since so many people potentially would work on a book, it was difficult to keep track of who did which pages, so they got referred to as Knob Row.
