Whaaaaat? Its one of the best drawn series in the world and was the #1 selling book back in the days. I am still a big a fan of this title. :)

An excellent piece from early Witchblade which became Top Cow's major hit to reset the course of the imprint! They started out with superheroes like all the other Image Studios, but with Witchblade, they leaned into fantasy. It still retained the action and bad girl genre, but this would lead to more hollywood opportunities. Such is the impact of Michael Turner's artwork.

Beautiful and great early Turner work! You got a nice transformation scene with more and more armor in Sara's face. And the cherry on the top is the gauntlet in the center.Nice pick up. I got my Turner Witchblade exampale luckely 20 years ago from the master himself (btw. its from issue 2 too) but could not stop and added more examples in the past years for way higher prices.
