DescriptionThis one is wild, Brian Bolland did this all in watercolor and ink...and it looks like a photo, but close up you can see all the detail and insane highlights and rendering and in her eye, the cop that is screaming because he is about to become lunch. I bought this off the wall of Scott Dunbier's booth at San Diego in the 90's and it still is one of my favorite things brian has done. No matter how you think it looks, in real life, it's even crazier. The guy is a master at so many things, but at realism, holy shit.Social/Sharing |

You might want to change the credits on this to Brian and Rachel Bolland! According to the art of Brian Bolland book, 'The most memorable Vamps cover, the one with the big bloody lips, was swiped from a magazine and mostly painted by Rachel while I was outside weeding the garden.' Damn, shes a good painter!
