Description

Original cover art from Johnny Bruck (March 22, 1921 - October 6, 1995). Gouache on illustration board. Roughly 11x16 in.

Cover of Perry Rhodan Planet Novels series episode #158, originally published in 1976 under the title 'Die Frauen von Avallan' (The Women of Avallan).

The first Perry Rhodan Planet Novel paperback was published in September 1964 and all stories were part of the Perry Rhodan universe. The series was quite successful and the last edition #415 was published in November 1998. Johnny Bruck painted all covers till episode #217, afterwards most covers were created by Alfred Kelsner. Swen Papenbrock painted the covers for the last episodes #404-415.
