DescriptionStar Wars: Droids #1 Pg. 8Pencils by John Romita Sr. Inks by Carlos Garzon Written by David Manak A John Romita Sr. page from Droids was something I was hoping to come across and add to the collection for awhile now, and luckily it eventually happened!! I was very happy to snag this great page from issue #1 featuring C-3PO, R2-D2, and the boy Jost Ellon ("Master Jost") on the planet Dodz in the Outer Rim! Really also love the speeder "Zwoooooshhh" scene in the first panel. Star Wars: Droids was an eight-issue comic book series published by Star Comics, an imprint of Marvel Comics, from 1986 to 1987. The series was based on the animated Star Wars: Droids television show, which aired in the 1985–86 season and was canceled shortly after this series began. I'll have to get a proper scan of this with a much larger oversized scanner at some point or take it somewhere to get that done but wanted to post/share this before the end of Star Wars Month! EDIT: Opted for phone scan for main image, but original low lighting photo is in additional images section. Still need to treat this post better with a high rez proper scan one day. Social/Sharing |

Always fun to see you get excited about a new Star Wars piece, dude! It really IS a great one, too. I mean you get multiple great shots of both droids AND it's from the first issue, so it's quite a score!
