Description

Again, when I sold most of my collection in the 1990s, I did keep the items that meant most to me and this one is no different. I owned at least a dozen Foster Tarzans, but never kept any of the others for my collection, but this one was special.

The art on this page is beyond incredible. The elephants here are actual breathing & living creatures and the linework on this page is just amazing. Al Williamson wanted to trade me out of it, but I wasn't letting it go.

The page has a creamy color with a discoloration at top left from being in a frame with a broken piece of glass for several decades in a basement, causing it to darken somewhat in the exposed area.

You are unlikely to find a Tarzan of this art quality in your hunt, though it isn't impossible.
I've had it for 35 years and the previous owner had it for decades, having acquired it from Foster somewhere back in history.
