This is so wild. As someone who is so highly regarded for his inks, I can't remember the last time I saw a finished pencil piece by Nowlan. Especially without a comic book subject matter. I mean he's certainly not known for good girl or cheesecake work. This is absolutely stunning and a rarity among Nowlan gems.
I'm pretty that's a nude woman on all fours. Or it could be Mystique.
Seems like it's consistent with his Penthouse work (I'm talking era, not subject).
Yes, this is an amazing piece on so many levels!
