Reilly has showed us some heavy Steranko influence in the story and this page brings the heavy Kirby influence with the cosmic goodness and Kirby Krackle. I also love the layout/panel design Reilly brought to this page. "Reilly’s illustrations feel like something else entirely, as if the book is ripped straight from the Sixties the story emulates. The jumping and dodging, the wacky technology for the time, the explosive impacts, all of it gives a definite feeling of a tale out of the mind of James Bond creator Ian Fleming, though taking place four years after his death. You hit it on the nose in your description when you referenced Steranko and Kirby. Tom Reilly evokes both artists on the same page and makes it work beautifully.

Influenced by some of the classics but still all Reilly! So awesome. Uniquely laid out, and who doesn't like seeing Uatu with some background Krackle?! Congrats!

I totally agree. It's impressive how he pulls it all together into something all his own.

Thanks! The issue was made up of several short stories. I did get Tom Reilly's full 8 page story.
