DescriptionI was lucky enough to get one of the 6x9 sketches from DWJ at Heroes and as usual, he did not disappoint. I picked Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal because not only is it a really good show that I recommend you watch, but it also visceral, brutal, and very emotional. Those same exact qualities can be found in DWJ's art. It turns out Daniel is a big fan of the show as well. So the end result is fitting, and I feel like he properly captured the essence of the show. The character design is great, and the detail of the trees reminds me of Bill Watterson. It really is amazing how much he can fit into a 6x9.It is also amazing how much he puts into each con. His line was never-ending this year and as much effort goes into the people that he meets as does with his art. I guarantee it is exhausting, but it also brings so much joy to so many fans in the hobby. A great reminder of the positive energy that can be found in comics. Big thanks as always to Felix, Yams, and DWJ! Social/Sharing |

I love this show, really everything Genndy Tartakovsky touches. I actually have someone working on a Primal piece for me as well, I hope it turns out half as good as this one. Congrats.

Love Primal so much! Killer piece and a perfect match of artist and subject matter! Congrats, I'm sure it wasn't easy getting on his list!

Dude, SO much packed into this 6x9 board! Full bleed goodness, and so much depth with Primal, the dinosaur, AND the jungle background. DWJ does it again! Congrats!
