Huge get, brother!  I remember seeing this one there and digging it!  Awesome Cyke, and a nice contrast of the inks on him vs the pure line work everywhere else!  Congrats!

Stellar pickup, man! Just a bonkers cover. I agree with Kahlil that the choice of the hyper-detail on Cyke vs Emma and the dinos makes a really awesome contrast to this piece. 

I love everything about this. If only we could ride dinosaurs too..

Fabulous X-Men cover by Leinil Francis Yu! I love this image of Cyclops and Emma Frost riding dinosaurs. I know if can't be done, but if it could, I'd sure like to ride dinosaurs myself! I rode a camel once but it's just not the same thing. Gorgeous layout and inks from Leinil Yu. Fantastic pick-up!

Ooooh, I was -such- a fan of this run!  Gorgeous (no other word for it) cover by Leinil, and what a treat to see him ink himself on an image of Scott and Emma riding shotgun on a herd of stampeding T-Rexes.  You bet - why not?  Hickman was taking us on quite the journey during his too-short tenure on X-Men (we were very explicitly being treated to frontier living in his run) and infusing a Wild West vibe into an early cover felt just perfect.  I love Leinil's wireframe dinos that add so much texture and depth to the image, and how Cyclops and Emma are more tightly rendered (of course) to grab and anchor the viewer's attention. My favorite thing may very well be that the Rex they're riding is staring down the barrel here ("You got a problem with this, fanboy?")... just coolness, attitude, and adventure dripping off every centimeter of this thing.  FANTASTIC grab, Derek!  Huge congrats!

Can't believe you have a Leinil cover while it's still a gaping hole in my Philippine artists gallery.  Yeah, yeah!  Everyone's making a fuss because it's an X-Men cover.  But me personally, I'm loving all the dinos.  Which begs the question, where the hell is Ka-Zar?
