Description
I know its a weird tangential connection but Lord Alfred Tennyson's poem was rolling through my head as I worked on this piece.. Dream Boy has a "Lancelot " quality about him and of course part of Veilmist's features ( like the Lady of Shalott are hidden )are hidden . The Luck Lords floating eye helmet is cracked open just as the mirror was in the poem. It's amazing what catches the imagination sometimes

She left the web, she left the loom
She made three paces thro' the room
She saw the water-flower bloom,
She saw the helmet and the plume,
She look'd down to Camelot.
Out flew the web and floated wide;
The mirror crack'd from side to side;
'The curse is come upon me,' cried
The Lady of Shalott.

Even more complex than the original with the revelation that this is a cyclops in the helmet.
