Another con, another addition to my Hulk Friends, Foes, and Family Sketchbook!

You may know that I only ask artists to sketch in this book if they've drawn at least one Hulk comic for Marvel. The only one Jerry had done was Marvel Team-Up #104, which featured Hulk and Ka-Zar. I wasn't sure if that should really count, but I love the old-school artists and I loved Jerry style, so I ultimately decided that it absolutely counts. After all, Hulk's name is in big letters as part of the title on the cover, right?

I'm glad I decided that, too, as Jerry chose one of my favorite Hulk villains! I had been waiting and waiting for someone to choose The Absorbing Man, and the day finally came! I really like how his powers are in clear use in the sketch and I really think Jerry delivered a top-notch piece for my book!

The best thing about this is how Bingham makes you feel the weight the Absorbing Man carries in the pose! He puts the right strain on the right places.
