Jewel by Gene Gonzales and Simon Gough

Mysa Nal started off the "Five Years Later" era in a horrible situation. But things got much better for her after rejoining the Legion of Super-Heroes. Mysa gained new magical abilities, and after being de-aged to a teenager by Glorith, Mysa seemed to be genuinely happy. She became flirty and fun, and adopted the codename "Jewel". I asked Gene Gonzales to draw Mysa in her Jewel identity here, and he delivered this gorgeous commission shortly afterwards. I love the pose, the smile, and the way her skirt is moving. I asked Simon Gough to add some colors, and he made this piece just flat-out beautiful. I love how he worked the color fades in her skirt, and the background colors work perfectly. Huge thanks to Gene and Simon!

Are the colors traditional? If so this is absolutely epic!

The pencils and inks are traditional, the colors are digital.

Thanks! I like getting most of my black and white commissions colored digitally, and then I can have a color print to go along with the physical commission.

Nice clean line work on the B&W, but this these colors are next level! The gradient on the skirt...wow. Congrats, Travis!
