Description

Another piece from Ariel that's impossible to appreciate via photograph - this is 36x43in on wood panel, again with mixed media components to give it a textured feel. It's an amazing re-imagining of these two golden age heroes, almost as if it's leaping out of a 1940s-era movie serial.

I love the ultra-detailed main characters contrasted against the simple flat backgrounds. Like you said, jumping out of the page!
