DescriptionIf you are unfamiliar with Ryan Lee's work I highly recommend that you check him out. He is a truly unique artist, and that is on full display here with this title splash from Mountainhead, his indie horror series that he did with writer John Lees. Mountainhead is such a great example of what a horror book can be. The Lees/Lee combo works remarkably well and Ryan's art shines throughout the five issue series. This splash is packed with detail from the smashed police car to the towering monsters overtaking the beautiful mountain town. Not to mention the antagonist of the story sitting on that frozen snowbank in the buff! Shrivel me timbers! Love the hatching used there. The character is wonderfully drawn just sitting there taking in all the mayhem. The issue credits in the snow are also a really nice touch. All comes together to make for a stand out splash page. As with so many creators in this hobby, Ryan is a wonderful person and somebody you should stop and talk to at a future convention. I appreciate his unique art style and look forward to seeing more from him in the future. Sincere thank you to Ryan Lee for the beautiful artwork. Man that is so fun! As jam packed as it could be but every element reads and the looming creeper on the horizon is perfectly framed by a perfectly executed nightmare sky

Man, had to pull back a sec to keep my eyes from straining by poring over all that line work! I mean, how much is packed into this?! Looks great, T - you've got a good eye for up and coming artists. Congrats!

Killer splash from Ryan Lee! Love all the chaos and mayhem Ryan managed to include on this one page! You've got towering monsters and smashed police cars, an endangered mountain town, all being observed by a naked guy sitting on a hillside. This splash is the very definition of kickass!
