Combat Kelly Issue #04 Pg. 14

Here is another pick up while out in Las Vegas. This is the first of two pages from this series that I picked up. I am happy to add them as they continue in the same storyline as the last piece from Sgt. Fury that I posted that crossed over between the titles.

This page involves the captain in command of both Kelly's and Sgt. Fury's men, which went into a state of shell shock on the battlefield. He was incapable of making decisions in lieu of a major German offensive heading their way. Sgt. Fury relieved him of command and was sending him to the back for the safety of the men. He was being accompanied by two other soldiers, when a group of Nazi infiltrators opened fire on them. The captain and his men were gunned down on this page.
