Description
Needed this page to complete the other pages I have from this series showing the torment of Victor Von Doom over his mother's soul that was taken by a demon.. Plus I wanted a page from Books of DOOM that actually depicting Dr. DOOM in his suit. It's a cool origin story of DOOM that I really enjoyed reading. It was also a fun side quest collecting moments from the 4 issue series showing the events that played a large part on Victor becoming DOOM.

This page ties all the others together...so BEHOLD THE CREATION OF DR. DOOM!!

This difinitive updated series simply doesn't get

the respect it truly deserves. As a huge Doom fan

I've always thought that "Books Of Doom" could be

translated perfectly into a live-action motion picture.

This page, you've scored, is a real sweet one. Especially,

that last panel. As a side note, I believe that lifesize

bust by Mike Hill & Alex Ross was inspired by the

art from these books. Anyway, congrats & thanks for

sharing.

I'm also a bit surprised this series doesn't get more love.  Great characters origin story, adds depth to the lore, shakespearean-esque in its scope, really well written and great art.  It's got the perfect package to be on some must read lists.  The only thing I wonder is if it the series is considered canon.  There is a "reveal" at the end that always made me wonder this.
