Description

Swordbearer cover by Bill Willingham (creator of Fables), 2nd Edition Role-Playing Game Cover Painting Original Art (Fantasy Games Unlimited, 1985). In 1995, FGU acquired the rights to the original version of this RPG published by Heritage Games in 1982. This is the all-new painted cover from the FGU 2nd Edition release late in 1985. The piece was created edge-to-edge in gouache and color pencil on 25" x 29.75" illustration board. The board had edge and corner wear, with some paint loss around the edges and on left side. In Very Good condition.

The sword is cool, but the logo fonts and how the "db" get incorporated into the sword hilt is so slick!
