Tara on the Dark Continent #2 Title Page #14 by Bill Black from 1979

I love Bill Black's work - and I'm a huge fan of his pages from Tara on the Dark Continent, I hope to track down more. The visual balance, flow and action are really great. I am not super familiar with his work, but I really enjoy delving into his old 70's stuff and discovering what a great illustrator he was from the very beginning. If you're not familiar with Bill Black's work - take some time and do some research, you'll likely become a fan yourself.

I bought this piece for my wife - who's name is Tara. She's not into comic art, but I thought she'd like this to hang up in her office, as she's about as fierce as Tara from the comics, and she never backs down from a fight. A splash page worthy of my wife!
