Description

Patience pays off again. The first painted Tedesco cover I purchased was at the beginning of 2022. I knew I wanted another painted cover by JTT, but it seems more and more, he is just opting for pencils on paper and finishing digitally after that... assuming he doesn't work totally digital on a piece.
And I'm still competing against all the other fans chomping at the bit for his work, including one specific collector that is dominating the Tedesco market.
But sometimes, fortune smiles and I was actually fastest on the draw when he dropped a tease and I emailed his rep. Big help from Twitter notifications.
I've been subscribing to Julian's Patreon and spoke to him at Dallas Fan Expo. He's a great guy. Big thanks to his rep, Nick for helping me bring this cover home.

Wonderful and fun piece by Julian. So true that he doesn't do many painted covers but when you get one it's a true gem!

The joy on the face and the wild action from riding the kangaroo makes this look like a madcap b&w film short from the 1940's. It might be a reason why it was done in pencil.

Great pick up, Grant! Very very nice! And we all know and LOATHE that collector you're referring to. He's the worst.
