Description

This is an original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animation cel, featuring a great image used for the animated television show, showing April O'Neil and from circa 1991 for the production of the classic cartoon series. If you wanted just 1 perfect beautiful image of April to display, you'd have a hard time finding one better than this! The outside matting measures approximately 11" by 14", with an interior viewing area of the cel measuring approximately 7 3/4" by 9 1/2". It is still in the original plastic, and has not been opened. Please note there are multiple large scratch marks on the plastic covering (and also some of the red sticker has been scratched off) which you should be able to see in the scan, so please be aware of this.

It includes a Certificate of Authenticity, which reads as follows: "Cowabunga, Dudes and Dudettes! Welcome to the world of animation art! You are the proud owner of an ORIGINAL HANDPAINTED animation production cel from the hit TV series, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. The term 'cel' refers to one of a series of animation drawings that has been transferred to an acetate sheet, painted by hand, and then photographed against a background painting. Your genuine hand painted cel is not a reproduction copy. This is an actual production cel. A one of a kind creation. Each cel has been used exclusively in creating the animation for the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES TV series. To experience the full effect of the cel as you might see it on the screen, it is presented here with a color reproduction background".

This is an outstanding vintage TMNT piece, and a fantastic example to own a piece of one of the most beloved and iconic TV and movie cartoon character franchises of all-time. This is an outstanding collectible piece that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and is a must-have for the collection of any TMNT fan and a perfect gift.
