Description

When your friend is the CEO of his own comic publisher, you tend to listen when he suggests an artist that you may want to commission. Cleber has been doing some great work for Black Box Comics as well as Zenescope, Cryptozoic and IHQ Studios.

He was fantastic to work with and so quick, too! We discussed a couple of ideas, but Cleber's love for the X-Men immediately synced with my own and he had layout A waiting for me a few hours later and layout B the following day. Once the choice was made, the entire piece was finished within a week and it's just loads of Marvel mayhem as the X-Men take on their nemesis Nimrod!

Having Nimrod center is the way to go! It is essentail to get all the placement of characters and their choreography down. It has as much characters, action, and detail as a George Perez cover.

A new IT record for how many characters you got in there?! I think so! Crazy overall composition, man, paired with some killer pure illustration. Whew. True labor of love. Congrats!
