Bringing Up Father. Colored Sunday Page. 1920. McManus

This is something very special - perhaps the oldest complete preserved, colorized Sunday page of the series 'Bringing Up Father' that exists today! This original is dated February 7 1920, but there are indications that it may have been published in March 1920. I haven't been able to determine which is more accurate. The series' main characters, Jiggs and Maggie, can be seen in every panel. The entire page consists of a humorous story that is typical of this series. Even Maggie's rolling pin has been given an important role! Out of all my comic art originals, this is my wife's favorite :)
