Description

A powerful page from the 'Death of Snake Eyes' story arc (Snake Eyes died battling Serpentor in the previous issue. Serpentor is defeated...a Hero perishes...). This page features his funeral at the Pit - in attendance here some of the Joes closest to Snake Eyes including Hawk, Duke, Stalker, Scarlett, and G.I. Joe & G.I. Jane.

Shannon Gallant had a great run on GI Joe, providing consistently strong art each issue. That last panel with Snake Eye's sword, Uzi and boots is an iconic image of Snake Eye's death. The panel with all the Joes was also used on the title page of this issue.

Great key page of the entire Hama run in both Marvel and IDW. Probably the most shocking turn of events in the IDW era.
