Description

This oil painting by the Spanish master Segrelles was probably painted in 1978 and used as a cover for volume 299 of the novel series Hexenhammer (Armee der Untoten = Army of the Undead). The picture is about 46 x 33 cm. I love the bright white robes and the composition of the picture.

B Norma Dickens, whoever you are, you get to live again! Pretty interesting how they show the skin of the scalp so they have have hair on the female skeletons in robes instead of reaper cloaks.

Thank you Marcus, I also found the depiction of the skulls very interesting and exceptionally creepy. Segrelles has been a hero to me since his work on El Mercenario.
