Description

I think the first original art page I ever got was an interior page from Michael Lark's run on Gotham Central. I did a re-read of the series across several airplane flights and reached out to Splash Page Art for this page with a full costumed Mad Hatter on it. Lark only drew the fully costumed Hatter on this interior page and two covers, I believe, and I own one of those covers already. So even though the majority of the layout is people talking in an office, there's a really, really nice Mad Hatter in the lower left.

Lark's level of camera work navigates around this big table with closeups that makes the exchange rapid fire like a board room debate. A very nice mugshot for the Mad Hatter. Weird that Gotham PD would let him keep the hat on.
