Very charming piece! Embleton's humor is easy to pick up by the audience and the smile on the ape should win over the boy. The realism used in posture and gesture is very gentlemanly like.

In my eyes, Embleton is extremely undervalued. His work is almost as detailed as that of Angus McBride. He was a great artist and most of his work is also quite large. I am happy to own some of them :)
