DescriptionGet a load of dat Hulk Ass.I was phasing out a bit during Medina’s run but stayed invested because Peter David was still at the helm. Yeah yeah….I know it’s post-pantheon so why’s it in this gallery? Merged Hulk + Peter David = I DO WHAT I WANT! The main draw of this page was that it was a title splash which has me covered with one by Liam Sharp and one by Angel. Dale may be a bit out of reach but I’m keeping an eye out for one by Gary! Special thanks to the force of nature that is Mikail Lotia for making the overlay for me! Social/Sharing |

I'm not positive, but by the look of the back of him...he definitely lifts.

You love Hulk, I love Hulk! Great Medina page in Peter David story run.
Also Medina like Sharp deforms Hulk in a peculiar way!!
So fantastic!

I've been a big fan of Medina's work for a long, long, time. The Hulk is a perfect subject for his caricature-style of art. Great title splash.

You keep postin’ you've got haunches for me
Somethin' gluteus maximus
You've been a’liftin' when you shouldn't 've been a'squatin'
And now Robin Riggs is inking at his best
These glutes are made for posin'
And that's just what Angel drew
One of these days these glutes are gonna Hulk all over you
Ya
You keep lookin' when a banner be twerkin'
And you’re cheeks boosting when you boughta inks wet
You keep David when your Peter be scapegoatin’
Now what's right is right, buns you ain't seen fight yet
These glutes are made for splashin’
And that's just what Angel drew
One of these days these glutes are gonna Hulk all over you

And you can tell from his neck that this is 100% pure effort - no steroids here! Also, I'm going to have to redo this overlay - that line through the bottom on the title is killing me. I have failed - so sorry.

That's on me...Looks like the overlay slid in the scanner. Updated scan to follow!

I just LOVE Medina's art and while his Hulk run was not as long as the other artists of the 90s, it was still super solid.

At first I thought this was a photo of you at the beach at OAX. I see that it's the Hulk now. Very cool.

Very nice! I love the Medina/Riggs combo. Too bad he didn't stay on the book a bit longer.

I do's what I's wants to do! That's right, E! And I'm a big Medina fan...he so nicely blends crazy detail with that exaggerated cartoony look. Case in point with the Jade Giant here. And nice job, M L, adding that title banner up top - was asking for it. Congrats, man!

Wow! Phenomenal Hulk title splash by Angel Medina! This one is totally breathtaking! I don't think I've ever seen the Hulk more bulked up--He looks like he just stepped out of the gym! Check out those shoulders! I always love seeing the Green Goliath with this kind of massive physique--It explains jhow he can do the things he does. This splash is gorgeous, with Hulk standing at the edge of Antarctica! I love how inker Robin Riggs only used crosshatching and spot blacks on the Hulk himself, letting the cold mountains and frosty icebergs of the arctic remain white in contrast. Really a stunning title splash, congrats!
