DescriptionOriginal art by Geoff Jones for the UK comic strip 'Hey Penny'. According to one source (Book Palace - Illustration Art Gallery) this sequence of strips was published in the UK comic 'Whizzer and Chips' in 1983. However, another source (The Cartoon Museum) states that it was in fact published in 1976 in a newspaper/magazine supplement called 'Reveille Extra'. The latter seems more likely as the style and content of this strip are more reminiscent of the 1970s, plus this particular piece is stamped '1976' on the back!https://hoxtonarcade.etsy.com/listing/1583046555 Social/Sharing |
