I LOVE Shigeru Mizuki's works. To me he is only second to Tezuka in terms of best all time manga-ka. I really love lots of modern manga-ka but Tezuka and Mizuki are my top favorites. Here is a nice shikishi (like a con sketch done on a standard sized harder piece of board that has foil edged(often)). I have a few other shikishi's in my collection and a few pages by Mizuki but this is my first GeGeGe no Kitaro piece. It is a super fun supernatural manga that helped to popularized the yokai spirits in folklore. His more serious works are powerful and stand as cornerstones of manga histroy.

Cartoony ghouly manga fun! Kitaro probably influenced what would be come a popular goth look.

Gret sketch and I love Mizuki as well. I don't know if any have been translated in English but his many art books devoted to the Yokai are essential, especilly his dictonary of the Yokai.
