Fantastic page Paul!!
Ah, so Frankling is all grown up in this series, huh? I guess that makes sense, since Spider-Girl is Peter and Mary Janes's grown up daughter. Olliffe has always gone under the radar, but has always been quite excellent. I really love his stuff inked by Williamson especially, though!
Spider-Girls just want to have fun ;)
Oh that Franklin. Such a Primo Hottie! I have never even seen a Hottie page until now and I must say it elevates this page to the next level.
Nice superhero hook up! Olliffe and Williamson did their thing on Untold Tales bringing young Peter Parker to age. You can see this is done in the same spirit for Spider-Girl for her coming of age story.
Untold Tales of Spider-Man was one of my favorite books of the 1990s, and I was very upset when it was cancelled. My only consolation was that it freed Pat Olliffe to do the Spider-Girl title, which had a great classic Marvel feel to it. I love all of the detail that Olliffe and Williamson put onto this page.
"HOO-HA!" :) Fun page, and I dig how that last panel takes you back to friendship Pete and Johnny have! Congrats!
I hadn't thought of that particular parallel relationship before! Though I don't think Peter ever referred to Johnny as a "Primo hottie" haha!! Thanks for the comments on my two Spider-Girl pages!
Ha ha, probably not! Well, I'm sure he thought he was a good lookin' dude. Wasnt' that like the first interaction? Pete feelin' a little jelly cuz Johnny had all these ladies swoonin'?! But yes...wouldn't go as far as "prime hottie" lol!
NP on the comments, Paul - some good stuff!
Such a fun page. Young love in all its splendor. Or maybe not. Anyway you look at it, this is a fantastic page!
Beaitufl page!
Very nice page. You had a good eye when you started out!
