Description
Page from the dynamic 12-page work from Tom Yeates's first pro work! Together with an All-Star lineup: Al Williamson, Carlos Garcon and Victor de la Fuentes.

Big bold panels detailing the classic Alex Raymond "Cave Kingdom" storyline. While exploring the Cave Kingdom given to Flash Gordon by Ming.

Flash prepares to attack a "Cave Devil." Dale (who just goaded Flash to act) bemoans his action "I hope he knows what he's doing!!!" As Zarkov assuages, "He's gotten us out of tighter scrapes than this!" Flash swings on a rope through the cavern to give to Coup-de-Grace to the Cave Devil.

All the cave denizen join with a triumphant salute "ALL HAIL FLASH GORDON!!!"

Plaxis tries to brag that his people would make a great army, however Flash retorts that these people "Need discipline."

Space-drama at its finest!

Fun dinosaur adventure!  With many hands on this page, they kind of drew themselves into a problem where the word balloon, cliffside and the dino horn all meet at the same point in the first panel.

Marcus, agreed, you definitely have a good point! Would that fall back on the editor to have had them fix that?

But you see that word balloon was actually moved up with the different ink filling in the space underneath.  So they meant to do this for some reason.
