Offered here is 20-7/8x34-5/8" heavy illustration board w/mixed media original art for alternate art that was not used for the final VHS clamshells. Art has notable differences, including Captain Jean-Luc Picard being more obscured by planet in foreground (and not showing his Starfleet insignia), the supporting cast are arranged differently (Data and Tasha Yar are switched here, as are Work and Counselor Troi), the Enterprise takes a slightly different path through space and the art features a more narrow appearance overall. Art is by Jeff Wack, an internationally acclaimed artist and commercial illustrator whose work has appeared on the pages of national/international magazines, movie posters as well as VHS/DVD/CD covers. Art has acetate and heavy, faded black cardboard overlays attached at top w/loose sheet of paper between to protect the art. Illustration board has some corner tip wear, but art remains clean and Exc. A must-have for any Next Generation fan. Social/Sharing |
