CLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!20x30" illustration board (mounted to foamcore) features mixed media original art for front cover of box for VHS release of The Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones: Treasure Of The Peacock's Eye. The Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones was a series of made-for-television films based on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles TV show, both starring Sean Patrick Flanery in the title role. Originally titled Young Indiana Jones And The Treasure Of The Peacock's Eye, it debuted Jan. 15, 1995 and was later re-titled The Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones: Treasure Of The Peacock's Eye for release on VHS and DVD as the eighteenth chapter in The Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones. Art was created by noted movie poster artist Drew Struzan, who had provided poster art for every Indiana Jones movie released at that point (and beyond). Art exhibits Struzan's detailed, yet stylized style Indiana Jones fans had come to expect, w/images of Flanery along w/co-stars Ronny Coutteure and Adrian Edmondson. Art features beautiful use of color, and Struzan has signed and dated "96" at lower right. Exc. Of note, art is more extensive than seen on VHS box (an example is included in this lot), which cropped some amazing detail seen in Struzan's original art. Paper overlay attached at top has "Original Art - Fragile - Please Handle Respectfully" inkstamp w/matching inkstamp on back of foamcore, which also has "Treasure Of The Peacock's Eye" handwritten title in black marker.
