I love this piece for sooooo many reasons�

1) first the obvious.. its absolutely gorgeous. Josh is an unbelievable artist, if you are not familiar with his work go look into it. His black and white comic art is one thing but then when you let him go crazy with color it just becomes mind blowing.

2) I got to watch him create this end to end on a livestream. If you have never seen one of your pieces of art come to life in front of you � I can not recommend it more

3) Josh and I have built a friendship over the last few years .. and I have regularly broken his horns about drawing Phoenix as he had never had to. Almost relentlessly on social media. I�ll be honest I don�t usually tune into his live streams , but that night he decided to finally relent and put Jean in the green!

4) Last of all .. she was for me , not knowing if I would buy it. when he was done drawing her, people where asking to buy it.. and he said well Jason D�Ambrosio gets first shot at it .. very fun to hear. Also I was able to pick it up in person at NYCC and hang out a bit with him and his lovely wife!

Beautiful! And also conveys that Phoenix is a little bit scary even when not Dark Phoenix.
