Description

Micky Maus Magazin #41 Goofy and Porcupine Cover Illustration Original Art by Ray Nicholson with Copy of Magazine (Walt Disney, 2003). Road stripe painter Goofy wisely paints around his spikey friend (who gives back a "thank you" wave), in this original cover illustration to a German Disney magazine/comic. It's by Dutch cartoonist Ray Nicholson, who has been the official Micky Maus Magazin cover artist since 1990. The art is hand-signed by the artist and is in ink on Bristol board and matted with an approximate aperture size of 10.5" x 10.5". Overall mat size is 15.25" x 15.25". I have A published copy of the magazine/comic with the image reversed . Art condition is Very Good, with a tiny stain spot in the lower right, near Goofy's shoe.

Comedy gold with Goofy staying on model in both how Nicholson draws him and in the humor of the situation.
