Description

The weekend of NYCC, I saw online that artist Craig Rousseau was holding a "Not At NYCC" commission sale online. Having remembered all of the art pieces he's done of the Legionnaires from the cartoon, I took advantage of the opportunity to get a fat Garth from him in his style.

Funnily enough, someone else commissioned a regular Season 1 Garth from that same weekend after mine.

Hey, that regular season 1 Garth you mentioned is my commission! I've asked Craig to do a few Legionnaires for me so far, and Garth just happened to be next on my list. What are the chances?

Oh wow, thanks for reaching out!

I've been slowly trying to commission this idea from the artists who worked on the cartoon and its comic tie-in. I've gotten fat Garth from Derrick J. Wyatt, Sanford Greene, Alex Serra, and Steve Uy alongside Craig.

Really nice that Rousseau takes up this style of commission with the textured paper and the color pencils! Takes a bit more effort, but Rousseau gets the look right to make you feel Lightning Lad's weight on the foot.
