Description

I was not even planning on going after a Tony Harris sketch but I happened to be chatting with some friends who were waiting for him when he arrived at his table, making me third in line. I realized that most of the other big name sketchlists were getting full so I figured it was a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

When I picked up the sketch the next day Tony said he'd had fun with it and it was the first time he'd drawn Kitty Pryde. While I had asked hm to incorporate Lockheed into the piece Tony said he couldn't think of what to do with him so that why he's represented by the painting Kitty is walking through. I told Tony that it's a great and creative way to present him. I also love the painting of Prof. X in the background.

Cool piece! Man, 15 pieces from Baltimore? Awesome! I think I'm going to quit my job and hit the sketch hound circuit too.
