Description

Believed to be a published cover for a comic but with so many issues and variations out there, I have not found it to verify. Regardless, a fun item. Jademan comics made a splash here in North America around 1988 to 1993. These were English translation of the popular manhua Hong Kong comics published originally in the Chinese language starting in 1970. Tony Wong, born in 1950, is a major artist in this movement and I think the first Hong Kong artist represented in my collection. We don't often think of China as a country of comic books but they are and although not nearly as preoperative as the Japanese, Korean or Filipino comic cultures, there is a lot there we just never get to see and read about. If you happen to know exactly what this was from and have a copy of the published image, I'd love to know.

Feet of Fury! These back issues are tough to track down with book stores in Hong Kong going out of style and these old fantasy martial arts books seen as disposable entertainment through the years.
