Description

Gazelle by Derec Donovan

Gazelle was created by Francis Manapul and Jim Shooter for the Threeboot version of the Legion of Super-Heroes. I quite liked her, and enjoyed how she tried to start a fight with Timber Wolf in her audition for the Legion. The lady had confidence and attitude. Maybe one day we'll see her again? But in the meantime, Derec has delivered this fantastic commission of her! I love the action pose, and the way Derec drew her alien eyes. Gazelle definitely looks like she's about to take out some villain or ne'er-do-well! Thanks, Derec!

Donovan does a killer job here with Gazelle. I've enjoyed his work each time I've seen it, and that streak continues with this piece.
