Description
Proty II by Derec Donovan

Former pet of Chameleon Boy and proud member of the Legion of Super-Pets, Proty II is a shape-changing Protean and ally of the Legion of Super-Heroes. I respect how Proty II eventually became an ambassador for his people to the United Planets, but honestly, my favorite moments with him are when Keith Giffen used him for humor. That being said, look at how awesome he looks when drawn by Derec Donovan! How do you make a protoplasmic blob look ready for action? I don't know, but somehow Derec did it! Proty II definitely looks like he's ready to slap someone around! Again, thanks to Derec for his stellar work on every commission that he does for me!

The best part is that Donovan did take this seriously and gave Proty II shape, form, weight, body tension, and an urgency with a more human like pose!
