Description

The other commission from the December 2022 list was this Nightinwg. I figured Manuel Garcia's detailed style would pair well with one of my favorite characters in comics. And I'm glad to see I was right.

While the Batman was mid-leap, this Nightwing is mid-landing. It's dynamic as it should be, for a Nightwing piece. The contortions of the muscles, with the shading & delicate inking highlight the magnificent feats that this athlete performs, even more.

When you're done with admiring the central figure, there's a whole city of details to peer at in the back. Manuel never skimps on details, but, still, it should be mentioned & we should be thankful for his dedication to creating great art.

Size is A3 / 11x17, done in pencils & inks.
